Munros

In Scotland, mountains higher than 3,000 feet (914 m) are called Munros. There are more than 280 Munros. Many hikers try to climb all of them. This activity is called Munro bagging.

Most Munros are in the Scottish Highlands. The highest is Ben Nevis at 1,345 meters. The terrain is steep and the weather changes quickly.
